Sahraye ("we", "us") is a multi-service platform for rides, food and shopping delivery, courier and freight, and short-term stays, operated in Pakistan. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using Sahraye you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account & contact: name, phone number, and (optionally) email address and profile photo.
- Identity & verification (drivers/couriers): national ID (CNIC) number and a photo of your CNIC, driver's licence, and vehicle details. We store a one-way hash of the CNIC number, not the raw digits.
- Location: precise device location while you are using a ride, delivery, or navigation feature (drivers share live location during an active job).
- Transactions: your orders, trips, bookings, saved delivery addresses, ratings, and in-app wallet balance. Payments are cash on delivery — we do not collect card or bank details.
- Content you provide: photos you upload (profile pictures, delivery receipts, proof-of-delivery, property listings) and messages you send in in-app chat.
- Device: a push-notification token so we can send order and trip updates.
2. How we use your information
- To operate the service — match you with drivers/stores/hosts, process orders and trips, and show live tracking.
- To verify drivers and couriers and keep the marketplace safe.
- To send order, trip, and account notifications.
- To provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the app.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share the minimum needed to complete a service — for example, a customer's first name, drop-off location, and contact are shared with the assigned driver/store for that job, and vice versa. We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf (cloud hosting, file storage, maps, and push notifications) under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information where required by law.
4. Storage & security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Uploaded documents and photos are kept in private storage and served only through signed, expiring links. Passwords are stored using a strong one-way hash. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion at any time (see below).
6. Your rights & choices
- Access or correct your profile information in the app.
- Turn off location or notification permissions in your device settings (some features may stop working).

7. Children
Sahraye is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, in-app notice.
